Skin Rash Rescue for Dry and Sensitive Skin

by Martha Fitzharris

If you have very dry skin you may experience a very painful and potentially dangerous skin problem. In order to keep a relatively common occurrence from becoming a full blown crisis you need to establish a good skin care plan. Your first step should be to establish a cleansing routine.

Dry and sensitive skin can be kept under control by implementing the appropriate cleansing routine. First, make sure you purchase a cream cleanser that is alcohol and fragrance free. With this type of product you can help protect your skin from products that contain unnecessary scents and fillers.

Next, find an alcohol free toner to help remove any excess oil, debris, or make that the cleanser did not eliminate. Follow up with the appropriate moisturizer for your type of skin. If you need to reapply moisturizer during the day, do not hesitate to do it.

If begin noticing that your skin is still dry, irritated and has become prone to rashes, you'll need to make some readjustments in your daily routine. as a matter of fact, any effective skin rash rescue plan requires some routine changes.

You should control your caffeine, alcohol, and soda intake. These types of drinks will dehydrate your skin, making it promote to itchiness and possible rashes. Avoiding their consumption will also help improve your overall health.

Also moderate the amount of salt and refined sugar that you intake. There are other flavor enhancers such as pepper, ginger, and lemon juice that can help you eliminate your salt consumption. As for finding a substitute for sugar, you can use honey or another natural sweetener.

During the colder winter months you should protect your skin by bundling up. Use a humidifier to counteract the dryness caused by central heating, and stay away from open flames. It is also a good idea to use a sensitive skin balm to help moisturize and soothe extra dry skin.

During summertime, don't abuse exposure to water. The chlorine from the pool and the salt from the ocean are both dehydrating agents. If you do decide to go into the water, make sure that once you've gotten out you rinse your skin off with fresh water.

Another good tip is to exfoliate gently during summer and winter. This action will remove dead skin cells and prepare the skin to be moisturized.

Lastly, change your wardrobe. Don't throw all of your clothes away. Instead, replace the itchier clothing for softer versions.

For example, wool is a very irritating fiber. However, you can replace it with cashmere garments. Polyester and polyblends can be replaced with high quality cotton.

If you want to treat your skin with a gentle treatment then you should try BIOSKINBALM. It is a dry skin care cream that contains an amazing natural ingredient: snail serum.
